I'm going to get to the good stuff first. Congratulations Baily! You easily take THE DIRTY DOG award today. I see a nice warm bath in your future!

We welcomed 2 new golden friends, brother and sister Bear and Crystal! They went right out into the yard and have been making new friends. Balls, toys, dogs, they don't know where to begin!

Out in the big yard we played and then played some more! I was out with the dogs this morning in between rain showers getting some games of ball in. Jake and Bear waited patiently for their turn. Cassie went off to find her own ball "I don't have time to wait!"

And then there are those crazy pool yard dogs that keep us entertained. These guys never slow down. If they think pool parties are fun now, wait until the hot summer months!

What a beautiful day! The dogs are taking advantage of the sunshine and the warm air. We've got all the summer fixin's today; a game of ball, a pool party, and lots and lots of those cute puppy dog eyes.

Cody, Lovebud, Ruby and Marley are happy to have the pool today. They've been splashing around all morning. No mud on this crew!

Cassie and Paddy are focused on the ball. Back and forth, back and forth. Lucy and Stella are big ball fans, but they root for opposing teams. It often ends in a sisterly wrestling match.

Neisha and Molly send kisses to their new friend Tug. Mason peeks over Molly's shoulder to see whose getting all those kisses.

Jazz is very happy to be playing on such a beautiful day. He found his favorite green ball in one of Molly's craters. Hannah watches all of her friends play while she takes a break. She loves laying on the cool concrete when it's this humid.

Sailor gives us her puppy dog eyes, "Please, oh pleeease won't you throw me the ball?" Ruby catches some rays and looks over at fly guy Ozzy Pug.

All of our little ones have been very welcoming of our new friend Sophie. She is adapting wonderfully and enjoying her time with her more mellow friends today. Finnegan is being a good boy and keeping her company all morning and showing her the ropes. "See, you can cuddle up on this bed with your favorite toy, there's even room for two."

Everyone had stories of what they got from the Easter bunny this weekend, and how beautiful it was out yesterday!

We had lots of fun in the backyard today! Summer, Paddy and Ruby had lots of fun playing catch... until we lost the ball! Paddy knew where it went though! I was wondering why he was trying to squeeze into the little igloo!

Happy earth day!!! We have a new friend today that we welcomed into the little guy yard named Macy! She made quick friends with Ruby in the office early this morning and then out in the yard she met Paddy and Kirby, Beau and Finn!

We would like to thank Beau so much for our Easter basket, isn't he just so sweet!!!

So, we have quite the lively crew today! Great weather to be outside and hanging out with friends, who wouldn't be thrilled to spend the day like that?! Especially on a THURSDAY!

Here's the pool yard crew! Summer is not so much into the idea of jumping in, probably because she's too excited thinking about her brand new Cape Cod Collar that she's going to get today!!! Marley has already gone for a dip and Bosco and Cody are thinking about going in for a second time!

The game of the day definitely seems to be catch, look at Jake, such skill!

Look at these mugs! Mason is so sweet, I just met him for the first time today on account that this is only my third week being here! Neisha is always super sweet, and Shiloh is LOVIN' the camera!

Lucy is getting ready to plant some trees for earth day tomorrow! I loved this picture of Ruby, sitting with her shadow!

Paddy is always such a love, he had fun bouncing on his bed this morning. Tobey and Taylor had a lot of little friends to play with today and are always looking out for one another! Ginger is loving her stay at Camp!

Weather got you down? Not this group. We have lots of ball, tag and love in the yards today! If that won't get the dogs going, some cookies (or fruits and veggies) will. All the pups are doing wonderfully with the rewarding process. After all, who doesn't want a cookie?

Paddy, Cassie and Kate were all about ball this morning. Paddy is always first to get the ball, but Kate is giving him quite a workout today!

And then the cookies come out. And I get three perfect, patient girls waiting for their blueberry goodies.

School break makes for a busy kennel! Hope everyone is having as much fun off on their vacations as their dogs are having here.

It may not be sunny but that didn't stop the dogs from splashing in the pool today. Marley, Dash and Cody were first to get their feet wet. Summer tip-toed around the edge but decided she'd wait for warmer weather. Niesha and Rufus sided with Summer and kept themselves dry, they all chose to play with the toys instead.

Cali, seeing us playing with the toys in the pool yard, called over from her play group hoping to get me to throw a ball around for her too. Of course we'll do that!

There are little green buds on the bushes around the yards and the daffodils are blooming beautifully out front. And I've been in Flip Flops for five days!!! Granted my toes were a bit chilly today, still it's nice to be changing over to Spring attire. The pups too have been breaking in the Spring attire. I'm seeing more and more collars with flowers, flip flops, boats and umbrellas. And they've been splashing in the pool all week here. Ah, it's so nice to have Spring!!!

The canine world knows there's no better place to spring break than Nauset Pet Services.

Bea starts her vacation off with a soak in the mud bath. It's very good for your skin you know. And Daisy enjoys her spa treatment in the day spa. It's a bath and massage all in one.

And while some dogs like to enjoy the finer pleasures of vacation there are those others who know Spring Break is for letting loose!

Nauset calls to this buds, "Dudes! It's time to party harty man!"

Two late entries, siblings, Ruby and Chester, give the boys a run for their money. It may be hard to see on Ruby with her black fur but she has added another layer of black on top her once shiny black coat!

Dash has become quite the tennis ball enthusiast and couldn't wait to get to day care to start playing. Lucky for him he found a ball in the Tail Wagon!

My oh my, what a day! A little rain can't stop this group!

Marley has been chomping on that same tennis ball since we put them out this morning. And Koto is just too cute!

While the group dried off inside, I took Paddy out for a great game of ball. At first he was avoiding the puddle, but a true ball dog will overcome any obstacle to get to that ball, including a small lake.

Rosalita and Ruby are best buds chasing each other through the puddle. Brady found a stick at the bottom of the puddle, and Lovebud admires his determination.

I've noticed a true ball enthusiast is just like a postal worker. Neither rain, nor sleet, nor snow will stop a dog from getting their tennis ball. Even Zeus works his way into the puddle! No denying that one later Zu-Zu.

When I asked Asa if he would like to participate in the fun outdoors, his body language screamed to me "No thanks lady, I'm good here."

The pups are getting in that last bit of play time before the rain comes. Let's see what they're up to..

In the pool yard..

Nauset and Nike dive right into the pool. Summer says, "Can't I just stand here and look pretty?"

Nauset encourages Harley to test the waters. Finally after a little persuading Summer decides to check it out. Maybe next time she'll get her toes wet. :)

In the back yard..

Holly takes a break from rounding up the tennis balls with Shelby to pose for her fan club. Paddy and Holly are a bit concerned, "Where are all the balls?" Shiloh says, "Wasn't me!"

In the big yard..

Newton finds a ball more his size and Cassie agrees. Spike is all about the soccer ball today.

Cassie and Abby are all smiles while they trot around the yard. Rosalita asks Abby, "Are you done with that ball? It squeaks. Squeakings my favorite!" After all that, Rosalita decided she'd rather play tag with Spike.

Today was a little gray out, but everyone was still in a great mood! Piper came over from the kennel to play with his friend Teddy! Paddy had fun with his lady friends, and Max had fun with his lady friends.

Monkey in the middle! The yards were a little muddy, but that just makes everything more fun!

We had a great group of dogs today! Everyone stayed busy, busy, busy!

It's another beautiful spring day and the dogs are outside enjoying every minute of it. We've been playing ball, wrestling and racing around all morning.

Ollie brought his big brother, Bucky to school with him today. They started their day off playing with some of Ollie's younger friends, Rosie, Ruby and Jake and then when the day got warmer moved to the pool yard for some splashing with Summer and Harley.

Abby came over from boarding today to enjoy a game of ball with Cassie and Paddy. She's pretty fast and beat Paddy to the ball almost every time

 Lots of ball play in the big yard. Charlie proudly brings his ball back, while Prada enjoys chasing Chester around.

The little rug rats welcomed Molly, the Wheaton puppy, to the group today. She's full of energy and curiosity. She had a blast with all her new friends, Woody, Ozzy, Tobey and Taylor.

You'll be seeing some new faces in day care. As our day care continues to grow so too does our crew. Mary will be at our front desk welcoming everyone in. Chelsea will be joining us to work out with the dogs, playing, cleaning and keeping everyone happy. Today's crew got to meet both of our new "two-legged" friends.

You know what they say, April showers bring May flowers. Here we have a different saying, April showers make for dirty, happy dogs.

Our giant puddle is the main attraction today for the dogs. Tag, fetch, wrestling. You name it, the pups are doing it.

Fenno prefers puddle jumping, while his sister Maggie waits ever so patiently for the ball. Hazel has decided to take the ball and bury it in her giant hole.

Our not so Golden crew:

Brady sits pretty and shows us how lovely he looks after his mud bath. Lovebud and Stella trot around the yard together working the mud into their feathers.

Stella thinks Brady looked oh so handsome after his mud bath, and has decided it was her turn to enjoy the puddle. Rosalita shows Gryphon all the work she's been doing in the boxing ring, but all Gryphon cares about is telling all his friends that he is in fact, the dirtiest dog today.

Paddy, Molly and Wrigley show off that they know how to play and keep their golden manes clean.
