Today is a beautiful day to be outside. Hope everybody is enjoying their Memorial Day Weekend as much as we are!!
"It's a fine day for ball," says Phoenix.
But that sun is warm, time for a rest.
Rudy and Maggie play ring around the tree.
Maggie asks, " Rudy, are you gonna
keep playing or what?"
"Play? Did I hear someone say play?
I'll play," says Jolie.
Boomer starts the border control.
Maggie takes the right side...
And Charlie's got the left covered...
Gus says, "Um, what are we even looking for?"
Elton comes running in with a report.
"I found Capulet!!"
"I wasn't lost," grumbles Capulet,
"Just sniffin' around and enjoying the sun."
Elton's keeping a closer eye on his buddy now

So sad, Henry went home today. He is just a funny dog who makes me smile. Love him!
Speaking of fun dogs, Chloe also went home today even thought I tried to tell her dad that we would keep her for him. He didn't agree to that!

This feels like a summer Friday! Great group of animals here though, and that is always nice (plus the weather is still fabulous).
Chloe is completely at home in the cat room - yeah! She loves the snuggle ball and we loved having her! The other Chloe is also doing well and is the only kitty right now.
Cash went home today after a lovely walk with Jules. He loves his walks!
While Jules and Kirsten were cleaning the kennel this morning, I had a ball bringing dogs into the yard. The little dogs were a hoot! No pictures because I was just too busy with the loving and paying attention to everyone. Cora trotted after me everywhere, hoping to be rubbed on her tushie. Zora very quickly figured out that I had cookies in my pocket, so she'd rub her head against my pants leg hoping something might fall out of the pocket. Katie also followed the cookie trail behind Zora when she wasn't rolling around in the grass. Tasha and Bijou were adorable, with Tasha grunting and snorting while Bijou just kept wanting to be carried everywhere! Moxie wasn't sure what to make of all these littlies and kept trying to get them to run around with him! Ming also wanted to be the center of my attention, but was very patient to wait his turn. Angus and Munson pranced and ran around, enjoying the sun. Angus tried to get a bit frisky with some of the others, but was a very good boy and ended up just rolling around in the grass. Miss Marple is a hoot and trotted along with everyone else, soaking up as many loves and pats as she could. She also enjoyed her rolls in the grass.
After the littlies, Pocah and Grace raced around. Grace is such a good ambassador for the kennel, patiently waiting while Pocah got her crazy energy out. Although Pocah wasn't interested in the pool, Grace loved being able to cool off and take a break from the ball game.
Grace then played ambassador again with Casey, who is also a first-timer. Casey was far more interested in the smells (that must be such an interesting thing for dogs to encounter - a yard full of new dog smells). Woody also joined the mix for awhile.
Tucker and Maeve played very hard for a long time. Tucker chased the ball over and over, while Maeve chased Tucker. She also stood patiently with her head against me while I patted and rubbed away a lot of loose, shedding hair!
Tucker couldn't decide on ball or pool, so he did both!
Over and over and over...
Pixie came in today running along her mom's bicycle - very cool. She and Pocah look a lot alike in many ways.
No changes on the Holly front - still hanging in the hall. Oh, she did enjoy a little clean up bath today as well as some time in the sun.
Tucker came in this afternoon for his looooonnnnggg stay. We are very excited to have him and feel honored to be given the responsiblity.

We got a great rain storm last night that washed away some of this yucky pollen and the sun is trying to peek out of the clouds. It is nice and warm.
Porter's dad showed up while we were out in the yard playing with Flyer, Grace, and Henry. Henry really got some speed going, chasing the bigger dogs who were on ball patrol.

Brody and Riley played in the yard for a bit while their parents checked them in, and then got settled in their pen. Brody likes his brother a LOT, so we may need to separate them (if you know what I mean!). We'll see.
Miss Holly continues to hang in the hall with us. She isn't going anywhere very fast, but it's nice to be able to sit with her in a quiet spot and give her some love.
Moxie, Cash, Zora and Miss Marple are all doing great. Easy, easy boarders.

Rebel just came in for a first visit and has settled in nicely. Would love ot know how he'd do in the yard, but those Huskies are wily! Perhaps a few of us will try him out there later.

Max C., my boy, is hanging out with us in our office today before he goes home. Gosh, I love him!
Chloe kitty came in this morning and is being a little shy, but I sense she will be adjusted in no time. She is snuggled in a blanket under the shelf and I couldn't get the flash to work (probably just as well).
Holly is also hanging out with all of us, in a prime location in the back hall. She is the queen of the hall, with her pillows of comforters and all the attention she is getting.
Katie O. came in today via the bus and is as cute as always!
Porter took his sweet time geting out of mom's car today, but once he was out, he went playing with the other dogs and had a blast! He falls so easily into the routine.

It's another wonderful day on Cape Cod! So we all came out to play. There aren't too many pups here today but those that are enjoyed themselves!!

It has been the most lovely weekend here on the Cape. Lots of sun and warm weather. We have a wonderful crew here!
Samson is just having a ball here on vacation, I hope dad is having just as much fun. Lot's of games of fetch and with the warm weather he even got to play in the pool this weekend!
Murphy and Mamie are heading home today after a short stay and a visit with Leslee, our groomer. They sure look great!
Scout and Pecan are doing well. Scout misses mommy terribly but is putting on a brave face. Pecan just starting eating normally, (yea!) he was having a little tummy trouble but it is quickly clearing up now.
Hoot, our lone little kitty in the cat room is as cute as can be. Colby came in to visit her on Friday and she was so excited. Lots and lots of purrs and head rubs.
Wrigley and Raffles are just loving the sunshine. They look like they are melting they are so relaxed out there in the sun.
Nike, Zeus, Kia and Maggie have become the "Romping Quartet". They love chasing each other around at play time and then cool off by dipping they're feet in the pool.
Little Rosie, Max and Rudy had a super time playing together. All 3 are puppies and are just too cute rolling and wrestling the way puppies do.
Logan, Lucy, Jesse and Aspen are all doing fine. Wish we could get Aspen to eat more, but she is in good spirits and loves to play. :)
Monday I promise pictures. Still working out the kinks with the boss ladies gone. Hope you guys are having a blast!!
