Another week has begun. If your like me and have kids still in school you can't wait for it to be Friday!! Final exams, graduations!! So much going on this week and all we want to do is start summer vacation.

Luckily here it's always vacation! The dogs are enjoying long lazy days of warm, sunny weather; digging holes, splashing in the pools and playing games.

The crew enjoys the shady oasis known locally as "The BIG Yard"

Charlie and Lola are looking at buying some real estate but it needs to have lots of storage for their toys. They had better move fast though if they want this cute cottage, Lewis and Krypto have their eye on it too!

These two know the importance of keeping hydrated!

New to the Crew

Roscoe and Dawson joined us today for their first day, we hope to be seeing much more of them over the summer.

Tesla and Bailey are boarding, but spend their days romping with the crew here at day camp!

Can you guess who's in the pool? That's right our resident mermaid, Ruby and her merman, Marley. These two are going to grow fins if they stay in there any longer!

The nice weather is back!!! YAY!!! We're having the prettiest pool party ever with 4 yellow labs (Marley, Ollie, Chester and Chloe) and 4 black ones (Spike, Ruby and newcomers, Henry and Guthrie). That makes 8 soaking wet, super happy Labradors.

Many squinty smiles in the sunshine. We might need to bring in some sunglasses.

Love Bud, Jake and Abby gather together to talk about what they should do with their beautiful day. Abby comments to Jake that he should sit out in the sun, he's awfully pale. He just laughs at her, "Silly girl, I don't tan, I'm supposed to be this color." She's still not convinced, after all, her and Love Bud have a beautiful summer tan going on.

It's ball time!!

Sailor's got her ball, Autumn's got her ball, and Lola.... "Darn it! Mine fell

                                         in the hole!" exclaims Lola.

What crazy weather huh? Last week it's hot and humid, this week it's back to cool, damp and dreary. Last week the pups were basking in the sun, but this week they're zipping around the yard yapping and yodeling. My conclusion... Crazy weather = Crazy dogs!!

Twins, Dash and Olive spend some time playing ball together.

In the back yard Marley, Charlie, Love Bud and Cody race around like mad men making the task of getting a clear picture near impossible.

Buddie and Monet are nothing but blurs in the big yard as they streak by.

Griffin's been immobilized by this stick. His brother Jackson tries to point out the fact that it's stuck in the fence but Griffin's determined.

The little ones are hunting for last week's sun and warmth.

I hope they find it!!

Our new friends were back this morning ready for another fun day! Jenna was following the camera around all morning making funny faces. Oliver was a bit camera shy today, and gave us his profile instead.

Harley and Lola are house hunting together. Harley thinks the house is perfect because it has all the amenities he needs, Lola thinks it's perfect because it's got lots of balls outside.

Harley, Cassie and Paddy have been hard at work in the holes today. Even Kirby is taking inspiration from his bigger friends, and has started to dig his own holes in the little yard. His girlfriend Sailor looks on saying, "You better wash your hands and feet before you even think about stepping inside our house." Lola peeks her muddy head up from her hole, "I think this is good for now."

If it's not time for diggin', it's time for ball playin'..

The funniest things happen here!!! I went out to spend some fun time with the puppies and found this...

Oliver is a tree climbing pup! It's only a couple feet off the ground, but it obviously gives him a good view of the goings on since he was quite happily perched there when I went in. He course jumped down when I went in but when I asked him to hop back up for a picture he was happy to oblige. He's such a funny pup!!!

Starting his day off with some water aerobics and his exercise ball, Dash is sure to be ready for bathing suit season!!

Scruffy's excavation crew is hard at work! He's got deadlines he's not going to miss. "Nory! Brady! Those need to be deeper! Nike, good job! If you can fit in there than surely the rest of us can, you big lug!"

What a way to start a week, lots of sun and happy pups ready to play.

It's a great time to be a homeowner. Both Monet and Cassie are interested in Zeus' one bedroom.

Lucy, Stella and Wrigley are an inseparable trio. Bella joined their crew today and was instantly out there rolling around and chasing the balls. Hannah enjoyed her games of ball coupled with her down time in the houses and laying on the cool concrete. She loves to snuggle with Stella.

Ruby is always up for a swim, while Molly decides to test the waters herself.

Paddy waits patiently for Marley to drop his tennis ball. Cody stares on mesmerized by Paddy's patience.

Cassie, Squire, Lola and Monet got to digging right away. Monet and Lola put their heads together trying to figure out how to get the soccer ball out of the hole.

We welcomed another new pup today, Boo. He is a great fit for our crew and had a blast getting right into the action.

He's had a busy day: Picking out his favorite toy, helping out his friends and finding the right opportunities to strike a pose.

Our little ones are busy running this way and that. Sailor is a ball of energy and is great at keeping everybody active.

Wahoo! It's a perfect day to play. There's no better way to get that last bit of crazies out before the weekend than a good game of ball with your friends, or a dip in the pool. Wrestling, chasing, and rolling, we've got it all today. We even got to welcome a new friend today!

Ruby and Teddy, a.k.a the Welcome Wagon, quickly got on their soapboxes to announce to all of their friends the arrival of a new pal, Brittany. She is a sweetheart and fit in immediately.

A big thanks to Pierre for sharing his friend!

Ruby has taken her love of the hose to a whole new level. She had a blast shaking the hose this way and that. She and Shayna quickly became B.F.F when she discovered that Shayna also loves the pool.

Squire was a good boy today and decided that he would help us disperse the toys. "Green Cuz for you, and a soccer ball for you."

He quickly decided though, that today was a perfect day to chew on sticks.

Charlie and Porter bonded over the green Cuz, while Zeus filled in for Squire as head of distribution. Brady says, "Thanks Zeus!"

Wrigley had a great day with his two new girlfriends, Hannah and Stella. Hannah took to him quite nicely. It's safe to call it love at first sight.

Zeus is putting his one bedroom on the market. It's got water access in the back and a new roof. Serious inquiries only please.

Scruffy, the husky puppy, is new to our day care crew! He and Love Bud have become best friends. Following each other around the yard, wrestling, and I even caught them taking a snooze together

I couldn't resist getting in a good game of ball this morning! Lucy and Kodi were the champs today, always beating everybody else to the ball!

It seems like everybody found that one "best" friend today. Jake and Chewy, Pecan and Beanie, were best buds enjoying the sun!

Beanie the Pug is having a blast on his first day at camp! Smea, the older, wiser Pug is here to show him all around. He's been interested in all sorts of things and hasn't stopped moving since he got here, except to give Eskimo kisses to his new friend Mei Lei. Welcome Beanie! You are a cute little puglet.

Fenno and Ruby were in the pool first thing this morning. Weaving all around and chasing balls. Both were dripping wet in a matter of minutes. Ruby has met her match, and since then she has been making cute little puppy dog eyes at Fenno. Could this be our newest celebrity couple?
