Dog Boarding
We provide individual and family sized indoor/outdoor, climate-controlled runs. Fresh bedding is provided daily. One huge play yard allows for exercise, play time or an opportunity for dogs to socialize. We also offer hand-walking and personal play/love time. It is our goal to spoil your dog!

Cat Boarding
Our cattery is quite unique! We only board 3-5 cats a night, so your cat is able to roam the indoor cattery freely, where there is room for all to find their own space. Water and food (both wet and dry) are always available. Cats love being able to wander around or just curl up in a blanket!

Doggie Day Care
Join the fun at day care, offered year round, Monday through Friday, from 7:30-5:30. Our regular day boarders love to make new friends! Whether you are on vacation and want to go on a whale watch or you are a year-round resident and want to provide your dog with exercise and some friends to pal around with, doggie day care is the answer. Reservations are suggested, particularly in the summer months. Your pet's first visit is on us - we're sure you'll be back for more romping, exercise, chilling out, and just hanging with the crew. Pet Sitting

Starting in January, we now offer pet sitting services! We can swing in for daily walks or stay the night.

Grooming

We are pleased to offer full grooming services for dogs and cats. Our groomer, Leslee, brings years of experience to the grooming table. Furminator© treatments, brushouts, breed specific grooms, puppy cuts, strips, clean-ups, and more. Her skills and caring demeanor can put even the most nervous pet (or owner!) at ease. Call and schedule an appointment today. Saturday grooms are available to fit your busy schedule.

Bathing
A variety of baths are available for your dog:  Flea and tick, skunk, oatmeal, medicated, or regular baths for dogs that just need a good clean-up.  Included in the price of every bath is nail clipping and ear cleaning. $20 Tuesdays is still on! Schedule a bath for your dog on Tuesdays and pay just $20! Bathing is available seven days a week and we can usually fit you in the same day.

Training

Amber S. Morgan, from Higher Ground Dog Training, strongly believes that for training to be successful and enjoyable, you must "train the brain" of the dog you're working with.

Higher Ground Dog Training uses the science of operant and classical conditioning and the art of creative problem solving.

We choose to neither bully nor bribe the dog, but to instead engage the dog's brain and create an atmosphere that is conducive to learning.

We believe that training your dog should be a way to foster a lifelong positive relationship with your dog that is based on mutual trust, respect and communication.

We strive to make training sessions fun and effective for everyone on both sides of the leash and to create positive behaviors that last a lifetime.

Dogs are fun! Your training should be, too.

Day Training is ideal for dogs 16 weeks and older who are confident or familiar with a kennel environment. Your dog will have multiple training sessions with Amber throughout the day and will be learning basic-intermediate on leash obedience with the behavior of your choice. Call for more info.

In-Kennel Training is perfect for busy professionals or as a productive alternative to boarding your dog while you go on vacation. This option is also ideal for dogs that are less confident, or for dogs that may need more intensive training.

During your dog's stay, (s)he will receive frequent training sessions each day, designed to be fun, exciting and consistently effective. Call for more details.

The Woof Waggin’ and the Bark Bus are available for pick-up and delivery for any of our services. See if our bus schedule fits your schedule. If it doesn’t, please call and make arrangements for door to door services.

             

 

Pet Supplies
We carry Blue Buffalo and Nutro Pet Foods and treats. Our toys and training items are from Planet Dog, Premier, Starmark, Wagatha's, Pet Cot and others.
