Some pictures of today's crew  out and about. Balls, puddles, slides, and more. Always a fun day at day care!

A super day was had by all until the yucky weather arrived. Then it was a

mad rush for the bathtub to see who won the dirtiest dog award for the day. That honor goes to Ziggy. (The picture below really does not do "His Muddiness" any justice.)

We hope everyone enjoyed their vacations over February break. Lots of fun here. It was so great to be open for day care during a major holiday! Yeah to our new building next door!

Tobey, Jake, Ollie, and Cassie waste no time getting back to action with

a fast paced game of  "Keep Away."

We're not quite sure what was so interesting here, but gosh the boys and Cassie sure did find it fascinating!

Diddo gets ready for a slide. Couldn't get her off of it today! FYI: she and her brother Buddah are looking for homes. Inquire at the front desk.

Ollie, after the now famous game of "Keep Away," wants to know what's next on today's agenda.

Agnes and Smeagol both agree that, "They are a little crazy in that big yard."

Paddy thought about going out with the big kids but he prefers to hang on to his ball all day long and pretend he's playing with everyone else!

Mud! Enough said! Oh, and lots of fun too!!

                             "You can't catch me!"

Shayna is sooo excited to see her friend, Bella, in the other yard. "Come play with me!" she exclaims.

For our day care owners who know Miss Honey, here she is resting after the morning rush! It is a tough job being the official greeter!

We're getting ready for Vancouver!!!! :)

Today's Events: Heavy-Weight Wrestling, High Ball Catch, Junior Stick Team, and Luge

The Heavy-Weight Wrestlers were practicing their moves today. Looks like Raffles has his pins down. His brother, Wrigley works hard from underneath trying to gain some ground.

Coach Charlie is watching his High Ball Catch team as they practice.

Tobey snags a great catch here. He sure does love his tennis balls!

Bella and Snickers walked the luge course today. The teammates seemed happy with the course, hoping for some fast times. Snickers says, "It's a steep slope and really let's you gain speed."

Asa asks, "Is it luge or lounge? I'm really good at lounging!!"

Pinocchio emerges from the club house on his first day hoping to get a good view of the day's activities.

Koto, a star on the US Stick Team is also coach of the junior team. Here she watches Bella checking her technique. Harley has been practicing with the junior sticks. Koto says, "We'll be seeing great things from this young boy in the future!"

Another chilly day! Am I the only one counting down the days till spring? By the way its 43. So, cold or not we still had a full house of happy playful pups. A warm welcome to Prada, who started her first day off with Marley. He was a real gentleman while teaching her the ins and outs of the play yard.  It was nice to see Brady come in on the bus today after a little winter break. Beau came back in with his brother Lee, he's settling into the pack nicely. He and his brother are definitely 2 peas in a pod, 2 jumping beans that is bouncing around the yard! Little Cassie came in to visit her friends in the small yard. And Lacey came in and played with Ziggy, Stella and Lucy along with Cassie (that's big Cassie). There was a lot of wrestling and rolling around going on out there with them. And of course many of our regular faces were there in the crowd. Jackson, Griffin, Abby, and Chester were a few of the Goldens in the crew. Zabette, Sparky and Nellie added some color to the yellow palette of labs and Goldens that made up most of the yard. And some of our day care families took advantage of our spa getting their puppies clean and smelling good for the up and coming super bowl parties. Remember, 3 days of regular day care or only 2 days of day care with bus service and a bath is only $15! And finally a fond farewell to Charlie who is leaving us for a month for the warmer climate of Florida! Have fun in the sun little man!!

Olympic training continues:
With the Olympics only days away some serious training was going on. The big yard was host to the time trials for Yard Racing. Tucker looks like a strong contender, beating Cassie by a shoulder's length.

Coach Charlie watches Tucker from the sidelines, pleased with his performance.

Later, in the Ball Fetch, Cassie was on top of her game, though Molly was looking strong as well. The veteran, Beau, will have to keep an eye on these two.

Meanwhile, in the small yard the athletes are vying for a spot on the US Stick Team. First up, a match between Fig and Koto. Koto grabs the stick early, makes a lap around the igloo and then makes it to higher ground. Match one goes to Koto.

Coach Ryley comforts Fig with a pat on the shoulder, "Good job. We'll get her next time." And with that Fig heads back for another round.

Match two goes to Fig!

The toughest match of the day was between Koto and Cosmos. Cosmos held the majority of the stick through out the match, securing his place on the team.

And your US Olympic Stick Team is... Captain - Cosmos, Koto, Fig and Macey. Coached by Coach Ryley.

And a special welcome to Harley, our new 4 month old day care puppy! Very interested in the camera!
